Events Calendar

The Ranger Service organises lots of events throughout the year, with the main Ranger events programme running from June to October. The walks are open to all, but children must be accompanied by an adult. To see specific lists of Adults' and Family events, click the menu on the left.

Booking is only required on those walks that state BOOKING ESSENTIAL - otherwise, just turn up. Many of our walks are accessible for people with mobility difficulties or other disabilities or can be easily adapted. Sat 30 March  EGG OLYMPICS
Some eggy activities for families. Please bring a (well-trained) hard-boiled egg with you.

Fri 5 April  DEER, PONIES, LAMBS AND CALVES
A walk on the farm to see sring new-born calves and lambs and get a look at our red deer and Atholl highland ponies too.

Tues 18 June  QUEEN'S VIEW TO BLAIR ATHOLL
Walk from Strathtummel over to Blair Atholl via Tulach Hill. A varied walk through woods and open moorland with fabulous views, 8 miles. Meet at Blair Atholl, drive to start included. Bring lunch. BOOKING ESSENTIAL - phone 01796 481355 to book.

Tues 25 June  MAR LODGE TO FOREST LODGE

Fri 28 June ORCHIDS GALORE

Thurs 4 July  MINIBEAST HUNT AND CRAFTS
We go on a minibeast hunt and then try to make some beasties of our own.

Tues 9 July  TOADS, NEWTS AND DRAGONS
Not a witches' convention, but a hunt for pond beasties. Approx. 3 mile walk.
