The Ranger Service is available to lead educational visits to the Estate at all levels. Nursery, primary and secondary school groups are all welcome.
We offer easy access to the countryside to look at many different topics including woodlands, food chains, growing, birds, mini-beasts, rocks and fossils and map and compass. We can do other topics to fit in with your school projects. From late 2010, we will also have an indoor classroom. This service is provided free of charge.
The Ranger Service is also available to visit schools within Perth & Kinross for talks and activities covering a wide range of topics.
Blair Castle, the Atholl Country Life Museum and the working water mill in Blair Atholl all offer good venues for educational visits as well.
If you would like more information on a schools visit to Atholl Estates, please telephone the ranger, Polly Freeman, on 01796 481355, or send an email.
